Yesterday was the presentation of a book of one of my teachers (of 3D), António Filipe. The book is "Comunidades Online de Sucesso" (Successful Online Comunities) and talks about e-learning and stuff.
I was there photographing, so here are some of the photos.
From left to right, the auditorium, the introduction, and then the presentation and autograph session.
And thats it, the lack of time doesn't help... :P

Estive lá a fotografar, portanto ficam aqui algumas das fotos.

Asus P526 & Missing Sync For Win Mobile

Asus P526 & Missing Sync For Windows Mobile

For a busy life like mine my iCalendar or the calendar of my phone weren't good enough for organization, so i was thinking about a PocketPC phone. I also thought "well, if i'm going to change to a PocketPC phone i'll get one also with GPS, that can be really usefull". So i ended up with Asus P526. It isn't a top of the line PocketPC, but i like it.

The Asus P526 that comes with Win Mobile Pro6 is not very big for a PocketPC (10,9 x 5,8 x 1,5 cm) and also feels light. Has an aluminium body, and a keyboard that is useful when you just want to make a call and don't need to get the little pen for that. It doesn't have wireless or 3G. The wireless could be handy now or then, but it wasn't a main function for me. The battery seems to last almost 3 days that its good enough for me.
And think thats it, i don't want to go into many details about it.

Mac users have a problem with PocketsPC's, because as usual, Micro$oft only care about themselves and the Synchronization software is only for windows. How can a Mac user go around this?
There's Missing Sync For Windows Mobile that syncs your PocketPC with your mac so you don't need windows for the synchronization. Works perfectly. You can sync by USB or by bluetooth. For bluetooth is better to check the help > bluetooth synchronization assistant just to be sure you get it right. (its really easy)

Para uma vida ocupada como a minha, o iCalendar ou o calendário do meu telemóvel não eram suficientes para organizar as minhas coisas, então andava a pensar num PocketPC com telefone. Pensei também "Bem, se for para trocar para um PocketPC que seja um já com GPS visto que pode ser muito útil." Então acabei com o Asus P526. Não é um topo de gama, mas gosto dele.

O Asus P526 que vem com o Win Mobile Pro6 não é muito grande para o PocketPC (10,9 x 5,8 x 1,5 cm) e também é leve. Tem um corpo em aluminio e teclado o que dá muito jeito quando se quer fazer uma chamada sem ter de tirar a caneta para isso. Não tem wireless nem 3G. O wireless podia dar jeito uma vez ou outra, mas não era das funções mais importantes para mim. A bateria parece durar quase 3 dias o que também me parece bem.
E acho que é tudo, não quero entrar em muitos detalhes.

Os utilizadores de Mac tem um problema com os PocketPC's, porque como é habitual, na Micro$oft só pensam neles e então o programa de sincronização é apenas para windows. Como é que um utilizador de Mac pode dar a volta a isto?
Existe o Missing Sync For Windows Mobile que sincroniza o PocketPC com o Mac não sendo preciso o windows para isto. Funciona perfeitamente. Pode-se sincronizar por USB ou por bluetooth. Por bluetooth aconselho ir a Help > bluetooth synchronization assistant para ter a certeza que fica bem configurado. (é fácil)

This is like a prank virus that doesn't arm your files or computer and doesn't copy itself to other computers.
Its the Newton Virus.

Isto é tipo um vírus "partida" que não faz mal aos ficheiros nem ao computador e não se copia a ele mesmo para outros computadores.
É o Newton Virus.
(As coisas que um gajo encontra a fazer pesquisas para trabalhos) =|

Café Com Arte Expo

Café com Arte expo

ENGLISH:
Another expo at Café com Arte is up. This time a smaller one because there are other expos going on at the same time. The theme is "Tea with Art" and i have one shot there, the "Tea with heART".
Now back to work because i'm busy like a Chiwawa at a Rave party. Degree works, an urgent catalog, taking care of coimbra@deviantART, trying not to get any more speeding tickets, etc, etc...
I'm going nuts...

Está a decorrer outra expo no Café com Arte. Desta vez mais pequena pois há outras expos a decorrer ao mesmo tempo. O tema é "Chá com Arte" e encontra-se lá a minha foto "Tea with heART".
Agora de volta ao trabalho que ando ocupado como um Chiwawa numa Rave. Trabalhos de curso, um catalogo urgente que tem de estar pronto para a proxima Expocosmética da Exponor, tomar conta do coimbra@deviantART, tentar não levar com mais multas de excesso de velocidade, etc, etc...
Tou a ficar maluco...
